Carol Ensminger is creative director and founder of Creative Matter, a graphic design studio in Chandler, Arizona. An accomplished graphic designer who displays a unique balance of both creative and technical prowess, Carol is represented by an extensive portfolio of work in print and on the Web. She is native to the cool-damp climate of Seattle, Washington and since 2006 calls the hot Arizona desert her home.

Designing for more than two decades, Carol has worked both sides of the desk – early on as an employee in the corporate world, and now as a seasoned entrepreneur. She supports clients on many levels of their business and more specifically through visual design development and their marketing initiatives. She works within a variety of industries from skin care, home improvement, dental, and a good cross-section of others. Her work is visually distinct, of professional quality, a bit edgy, and vivid in color. Carol combines her brand and marketing knowledge with her artistic and technical talents for developing high impact design and communications. She has amassed vast experience and knowledge in graphics, branding and marketing.

From Agency to Entrepreneur
Carol has made the journey from being an employed designer in companies from manufacturing to ad agencies, and she now operates her own vibrant design studio. Accumulating a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way, Carol’s skills encompass various graphic and marketing capabilities in: web design and development; creative graphic design, blog development; copy writing, implementing marketing strategies, direct marketing campaigns, production management; package design; tradeshow design, and so much more.
Design History
To mention a few of Carol’s clients: she has developed product packaging for multiple lines with Homax products and working with retailers such as: Home Depot, Lowes, Target, Costco, Walmart and Ace Hardware.
Carol played a vital role in developing product concepts and the launch of the “Little i” mint products. A full range of marketing initiatives were implemented, such as: mint testing, package testing, focus groups, brand identity, package designs, POP, advertising and website design and development.
